Did anyone tell you who Dr. Alexandre Lacassagne really was?
Alexandre, a doctor emeritus, is an actor of his time: studious, serious, creator of criminal anthropology. He is a man attentive to the small details of life, a farce of illusions that could approve of his theories. He shared his knowledge with his students and became a professor at the Faculty of Medicine in Lyon.
This great “reader”, as he liked to call himself, gave without limits. For him, revisiting the works of his youth meant rereading them with the benefit of the experience he had gained.
And when he offered them to his disciples, he liked to say:
